things to add...

  • blog system... smth that shows 5 posts per page... has next buttons....etc
    • i saw someone else use html classes to have different posts - each post had a customized preview (with an image and small description)... this is cool but it was just a list of these posts, don't know how to put it in a page format whatsoever...
  • something that can tag posts and put them into folders by topic ... or otherwise...
    • can this be done with classes too? there would be ... like 5 or 6 different tags... it would have to work with the errrrm post thing first
  • a light and dark mode would be nice
    • just figured out that javascript can do this i assume (same thing about the buttons?)
  • a comments section - is it possible to do this w/o associating it with a company (eg. disqus)?
  • obviously...graphics that are awesome...
  • wait why is the css in the index and not in a seperate CSS? i tried moving it to CSS but i couldnt figure it out
    • well i figured out how to make the css file correctly but i couldn't figure out how to make this file link to it
  • i feel like the whole website looks better like 10% smaller
  • definitely a problem for the future but there will have to be a page or two that requires a password to view

putting immidiate issues to fix here... some already stated above but w/e

  • header image is bleeding into the navbar... erm... what do i do about that
  • header image somehow doesn't work from the css portion of this document? it's correctly linked, and nothing otherwise seems to be wrong... so...?? i feel like i broke it somehow without meaning to lol
  • sidebar needs to be floating on desktop
  • sidebar needs to condense on mobile. as is, everything seems to condense and wrap BUT that even though i put wrap there... so im like wat
  • proper image wrapping/sizing for mobile... i know it was mentioned above... i still dont know how it works though
